The following motion will be tabled by a member at the business meeting

 

"The Bridgetown and Area Chamber of Commerce, representing businesses in the Town of Bridgetown and the County of Annapolis sees great value to our community on an on-going basis, and seeks the support from all levels of Government, for the Wind Farm project recently proposed by private investors in the Arlington area of Annapolis County. It is the desire of the Chamber that given the decade long interest in Wind Farm Technology in that specific area, the time for theories and studies has passed, and quick action welcoming this huge economic advantage to Annapolis County be capitalized on."

The nominating committee has a great slate of officers proposed for the Chamber in 2010/11. In keeping with our By-Laws, I will be assuming the role as Past President.
